It’s not just the team and the fans that Scotland brings!
We’re getting set to play a role at the biggest sporting event in the world – signing-up 29 (and counting) World Cup national associations to our digital medical management platform for player welfare; ScribePro Team.
While Scotland’s fans dream of football glory on the pitch, we’re putting Scottish innovation at the centre of elite global football and reinforcing the country’s long-standing reputation for engineering, healthcare and technological expertise. This clinician-led digital medical management system will help support player welfare, injury management and medical communication throughout the competition.

Participation in the World Cup will present unique medical and operational challenges for teams and clinicians, including congested fixture schedules, short recovery windows, international travel, rapid medical decision-making and the need for secure, accurate sharing of player medical information across multiple locations and medical teams.
Scotland’s national team led the way as the first in the world to implement ScribePro Team. Ian Maxwell, Chief Executive of Scottish FA, said: “The Scottish FA has seen first-hand the value that high-quality digital medical systems can bring to elite football environments. Developed by clinicians for clinicians, ScribePro Team is designed to simplify and improve medical management within elite sport environments. Available across desktop, tablet and mobile devices, the platform enables medical teams to securely manage player records, injury tracking, medications, training and playing status, reporting, voice notes and medical documentation in real time. The system also includes offline functionality and live tournament support, helping clinicians operate effectively in high-pressure, fast-moving sporting environments.
